i understand no nail POLISH, but dip powder, gel, and modest acrylics should be allowed. If my dip powder nail “chips”, you won’t see nail polish in the drink. it will be blood, and I will definitely notice.

v frustrating. I don’t want to give up my position for something so silly but it aches !!!

agreed 100% :(

I don't think it has anything to do with chips of polish. Healthcare workers aren't allowed to have nails done because they are huge sources of bacteria. Like they are never clean. Turns out gel polish holds the most. 🤷‍♀️

Please no

Honestly, I get it - I miss having my nails done too. But I doubt I’d be able to keep them nice looking with all the harsh chemicals, sani water, etc.

Also, I feel like in the great scheme of things, I’d rather petition for something more important, like higher wages, better scheduling, etc.

They told us sani is a big reason, it’ll dissolve the polish

I believe it. It tears the shit out of my hands.

Really though, my hands were peeling my first week in

Gloves would totally work

Gloves would totally work. But now you are going to throw away dozens of nitrile or plastic gloves per shift for fashion... while you talk about how straws are evil
