since starting at starbucks, i’ve only worked mornings, with the exception of like two times (one of which was a shift swap) and i requested off every saturday which was approved to start 12/28. last night i checked my schedule and i close (4-11:30pm) on my 21st birthday. i didn’t think to request it off individually because i requested off every saturday (my birthday is on a saturday) and i have never ever closed. i went to the groupchat and asked if anyone was available to cover my shift and was told that everyone requested off for another partner’s graduation party, so there’s no one to cover me.

i have no idea what to do. i have plans set in place because i was so sure that i’d have that day off like i’m supposed to. i’m worried i’m being too self absorbed thinking that i should have been off and that i should just suck it up. if anyone has any advice on what i can/should do, i’d greatly appreciate it!!!
