So I’m at work minding my business on bar and I make this grande light ice caramel macchiato right ? Well the lady whose waiting for said drink is standing right next to bar and yells “That was supposed to be light iced” and I looked at it in the middle of a rush muttered to myself oh I thought I did light ice and turned to her and said okay I can remake it for you right away! And I remake it . No big deal right ? No she took me mumbling to myself as rude and told me “That’s the rudest I’ve ever been treated at a Starbucks” soooo now I’m going to get a complaint probably haha
I wasn’t trying to be rude mostly just thinking out loud so I’m sorry lady truly I wish you would have stuck around so I could have told you that but I hope you have a fantastic day!

I feel like people get stressed over the holidays and take it out on poor retail workers. Earlier we had a guy scream at our drive thru barista because he was offended that he had to pay first before getting his items. He screamed so loud and literally threw a fit like an ill-behaved toddler that the entire store heard him. It was so strange and ridiculous. He was a regular too. Some people just suck man :/

Yeah that sucks. I got my first complaint today and literally cried in front of my manager and coworkers because this week sucked and this was just a cherry on top.
The guy lied about what happened and told my manager that I caused him to have an “extremely disappointing visit” at our store on Christmas all because I said he couldn’t take money from the tip jar! I could tell he was annoyed with the situation so I made sure to be overly nice and apologetic, but ig it didn’t make a difference. Now I feel like shit and am embarrassed even though I didn’t do anything wrong.
Why are people like this??

Yeah that’s really messed up ? Why would he want to take money from the tip jar in the first place !!
