Me: “thank you for choosing Starbucks, what can we get started for you today?”
Karen: “venti iced chai.”
Me: “okay, one venti iced chai, anything else for you today?”
Karen: “don’t I get two today?”
Me: “yes, if you order two we have a buy one get one free on select drinks.”
Karen: “didn’t I tell you I wanted two?!”
Me, mentally: ‘no you definitely did not’
Me, to Karen: “okay, so two venti iced chais, will that be all for you today?”
Karen: *pulls forward*
Karen: “venti iced chai.”
Me: “okay, one venti iced chai, anything else for you today?”
Karen: “don’t I get two today?”

It's difficult for karens to be nice when the world clearly owes them everything. I'm sorry they treated you badly. You don't deserve it and you rock.
