There's a debate at my store currently. Do you make these with caramel syrup or not? My shift said he was taught to make it without it but on the pos it says it has.

Omg. This right here is why whoever thinks up these drinks in a Starbucks lab somewhere should have to make them in real life. The salted caramel mocha espresso beverage and frappuccino do not use any caramel syrup, these are made with Toffee Nut syrup, Caramel sauce drizzle and sea salt topping. However, in a fun twist because why not, the new salted caramel cold foam is made with caramel syrup and salt packets and no toffee nut. I hate having to explain this to new partners. I think they think I'm trying to trick them. The POS and the recipe card will confirm this completely asinine recipe difference.
FUN FACT- At home, I make salted caramel coffee with salted Carmel Crown whiskey and a little milk and brewed coffee. Works well with hot or cold coffee. Just saying. A trenta iced coffee with no classic, half vanilla and cream with enough room to add your salted caramel crown is a nice way to end the day.

Recipe doesn’t get caramel drizzle/topping but it does taste WAY better with it, even though it isn’t standard!
