Opening Question (self.starbucksbaristas)

I was briefly trained to open at my cafe store but didn’t learn it very well. I’m trying to pick up an opening barista shift next week but nobody can seem to tell me what I’m supposed to do. If I have a list I can follow it all no problem. Can anyone here help me out?

If youre newish, than just get the breakfast sandwiches and rtd&e done then ask your shift. They shouldnt mind helping you out

Yeah I’m about 3 months old. I feel like opening is pretty self explanatory but I’m always afraid I’ll mess something up.

Dont beat yourself up for messing up. Ive been here 30 months and i make 10 mistakes a day lol. As a shift im there to support partners who dont know what to do. Your shift will be the same way

I set up the pastry case, date the breakfast sandwiches, and RTD&E. There is a picture of the case on the iPad that you have to mimic. The breakfast sandwiches that go on display have a special warming button on the oven. My SSV does everything else.
