A couple weeks ago, one of my favorite customers and I were chatting about how he makes really good split pea soup and I told him how much I like split pea soup.
Fast forward to today, I had completely forgotten about that conversation. He came in and set a container on the counter and I was like "huh? What's this?". He told me it was split pea soup, and honestly, it made my day (and the rest of my year).

I have a customer who used to come in everyday at 540 am and hes just mobile order a ice coffee with light ice and a sleeve. And everyday we would just talk, he talked about a new job he was starting and after he started the new job i didnt see him for about 2 weeks? The day after christmad he comes in like at 1 and gives me a 25$ amazon gift card and said merrry christmas. I was taken back by it so much and it made my whole week.

If only the majority of our customers were like that. It would make this job more tolerable.
