Responding to creeps (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by pupperoni-pizzas
Yesterday, a guy came in with his wife wearing a Christmas shirt that was entirely inappropriate for a Starbucks, and then he started calling me “doll” and I caught him staring at me for a long time. Is there any way the company allows us to protect ourselves from these kinds of people? My other female coworkers have had the same kind of problem.

No partner should ever feel uncomfortable at work, and if you do there are remedies. I would start out by having your SSV or SM talk to the person about their behavior. If that doesn't help then fill out an incident report, or have you SSV fill one out. It's helpful to get the person's name and date of birth, you usually need that to give the person a formal trespass notice.
