Slow down. Work at your own pace. If people have to wait, then that’s too bad, they will get over it. We don’t write the schedules so being understaffed isn’t our fault. The more people that complain hopefully sends a message to management. When closing time hits, finish whoever you have in line and tell anyone that walked in after closing time that you are closed and you can’t take any more orders. Finish making all the drinks you need to make and then kick everyone out. It sucks to stay later than scheduled but if you have to stay an extra almost 2 hours to finish cleaning and prepping everything because of poor staffing (been there a couple times) hopefully it will send a message to management that the whole understaffing thing isn’t gonna fly. Plus it puts me into overtime and they extra don’t like that.

Can you start handing out corporate numbers and make-it-right gift cards and tell customers to complain to corporate about short staffing?

I would contact your DM and tell them your working conditions are unacceptable.

Unacceptable!!! Seriously!!! Call the partner help line and see what they can do. Make an anonymous report about this. Or. Lock the front doors and say it’s now drive through only for the rest of the night.
