I wouldn't. Not because of dress code, but because they're going to get ruined and someone is going to spill frap roast on them and your feet are going to smell like coffee.

They need to be leather and trust me you don’t want suede

I wear canvas shoes all the time even when they're against the dress code. The whole leather rule is supposed to protect you from spilling hot liquid on your feet and burning them. If you're going to wear them tho, if you burn your feet I wouldn't file for workman's comp or anything cuz it's in the dress code to wear leather shoes. (Suede is allowed too but hot liquids will seep through)

I've never had an issue getting in trouble abiut the fabric of my shoes. Color, yes. But as long as they're dark colors (black, Grey, navy blue, dark brown) or white, you're fine.
Suede will get ruined quickly, though!

so i asked my shift supervisor about the canvas. and yeah, it’s not a part of the look book. but the main concern is the burns that can take place bc of a “thinner” fabric. we have a pretty relaxed dress code policy, as long as it’s not blatantly incorrect or really bad, then we’re good. and she told me it was my risk if i wore canvas, and she wouldn’t say anything. but that all depends on how your store works.

As long as they are within the allowed color scheme, yes. And yes suede shoes are allowed too.
