Yeah I was going to say dirty chai is where it's at. Last time I got a green tea frappuccino with caramel the barista went overboard but I think it cured me of my love of caramel so I consider that abomination a win for me.

it's not the customer's fault, the menu was designed by assuming the customer is stupid.
if i were ordering a coffee at another shop they would have "latte $x.xx" "macchiato $x.xx" "americano $x.xx" and then "add syrup $.xx" and then a list of syrups.
now, you'll notice the starbucks menu does not look like that. in fact many of the menu boards have, in lieu of educational information, two or three pictures of drinks. like, JUST two or three. PICTURES. with a price for the grande.
so what exactly are you expecting to happen differently?

I swear a solid 80% of our drinks are caramel abominations. Fraps, lattes, macchiatos, almost always with extra caramel ("extra syrup in it or extra drizzle on top?" "both"). At least a dozen times I've turned off the headset and said "OR you could just get a single shot and go to the Kroger for a bag of caramels since that's what you actually want."
