I ordered a Venti iced Matcha latte but with no ice and they gave me this much liquid. Is this standard protocol? I’ve never had them make it like this before, and I’m genuinely curious and not mad in any way. I guess it makes sense but it just looks like such a rip off. (i.redd.it)

Even if they did try to pull a fast one and only give you the amount you’d get if there were ice in it, it would be to that third line, not the middle.

But also we are not supposed to do that anyway. I would never. I can’t even imagine trying to get away with that.

Thank you for that insight!! Also I do feel like they pulled a fast one on me. This is all coming together as the last two times I’ve went they’ve said that when I go to the register and order this drink that it doesn’t show up on their screens so I end up waiting about 15 minutes until I ask about where it is and then they make it. I’m not really one to speak up for myself in situations I’m not sure about so I accept the drinks with no problem but I’m really surprised they haven’t offered me any store credit or something. You know? Sorry for the sightly off topic rant.

My store doesn’t have screens, so I’m unsure about how that works. For me, we have stickers that print. And sometimes stickers get lost because the machine runs out and people send orders through before I get new stickers in there. I always do my best to make drinks right away for people that are waiting. I won’t lie, sometimes I myself am too busy to leave bar to go over and try to get people a recovery card, and I should try more to be able to, but usually calling to speak with a supervisor or manager will help make sure your next drink is on us. I know it’s hard to speak up, I’m 100% the same way, I NEVER say anything cause I have anxiety like it’s nobody’s business, but you also completely have the right to get exactly what you want when you’re paying for a drink, and you shouldn’t be there for 15+ minutes waiting, either.

That’s not standard. I’d call the store and let the shift supervisor know. They’d most likely offer a remake.

Thank you, that’s what I thought honestly. I’ll definitely call tomorrow.

Not standard. It should be filled to the top. The only time I wouldn't do that is if someone requested room.

I agree- not standard. I'd fill it to the top with extra milk. So then the flavor won't be as strong, but that's cause I'd be filling in the space where ice should be with milk. But I'd let the customer know that beforehand so they're prepared.
