I don’t think it’s 1 hour per 40 unless the rate changes based on time employed (I’m 177xxxx) For instance, just looking at my recent pay stub, I accrued 4 hours based on 65 hours of work over a two week period. Not that that is all that great, but based on those numbers it seems like it’s closer to 1 hour accrued per 16 hours worked. Looking at the hand book, i couldn’t find an actual number for the accrual rate. The only thing I found was the maximum amount that could be accrued, which is based on time employed.

All my other jobs were 4% which is the same so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I mean, we earn a week and 2 days every year. That's kinda bullshit. Especially since managers are such asshats about paying sick time and you end up using vacation days.
