There's a very nice lady to comes into my store and gets about 10-12 drinks. Besides having to MAKE all the drinks, everyone loves her and we ask her where she's been if we haven't seen her in a while. When she comes in she lets people go in front of her and always apologizes for her big order. I wish everyone could be like her.

thats so sweet! We have a regular that comes every two or so weeks and gets drinks for everyone in her office, but she always goes to the back of the line and lets us get situated its so nice.
suenologia9 points3y ago
we have one too, she’ll get drinks for everyone in her office but she’s very sweet and polite and she’ll always tip us and be super appreciative
tryagainuniverse118 points3y ago
A little moment of silence for the other store Karen demanded to make drinks for them out of nowhere
aclassybetch45 points3y ago
Those stickers say cafe...pretty sure this is the “other store” lmao
KingDuck730 points3y ago
I started crying just thinking about this, I am praying so hard for them
Werespider2 points3y ago
I do t know about your stores policy, but mine wouldn't make these drinks. I'd have to tell the customer to go to the store they ordered from. If it was only a couple drinks, we'd make them, but not for 15.
icelessTrash45 points3y ago
A doctor's office sends someone to pick up 12-24 drinks from us, once a week, with a check, never tips us.
We do like the lady who gives us the list and lets us have time and space to complete it, as we take/make other customers' orders between.
sarkici1743 points3y ago
If someone tried to pay with a check at the store I worked at I would have been like wtf this isn't a bank lmaoo
Remi-Chan23 points3y ago
Bruh tf do i even do with a check....leave it in the register?? Smh
The_9_month_lurker35 points3y ago
Wait actually though. I wasn’t trained for this!
stephanonymous11 points3y ago
Our city’s football team has someone come in every single day to order 20+ drinks. They never tip.
cheven2010 points3y ago
This lady always comes in about 10 mins before we close and stands awkwardly to watch us.
Yellow_Chase37 points3y ago
See, that’s absolutely absurd. The app should have a limit.
hunterchic21 points3y ago
The app does have a 15 item limit, but that doesn’t stop anyone from placing multiple orders 🙃
Yellow_Chase5 points3y ago
really? I didn’t know that! That’s true I guess. Still 15 is too much.
hunterchic10 points3y ago
I don’t mind making big mobile orders, as long as the person gives us TIME to complete them! Obviously your drinks aren’t going to be done when you walk in three minutes after placing the order, but if you give us about a minute or so per drink then it’s not as big of a deal to me. :)
Yellow_Chase1 points3y ago
That’s true
Assiqtaq17 points3y ago
I work in a kiosk that definitely does not do mobile orders and have had people show up asking where their drink is. Lucky for me none of them large orders, and so far willing to go to the correct store. Had one person show up asking for a drink I thought for a mobile order, but instead was a Doordash type of thing where he needed to place the order for the person. I was so confused at first.
BodybuildingBarista11 points3y ago
Lmfao. Had a door dash woman come in to my bar and go “IM HERE TO PICK UP AN ORDER FOR DOOR DASH”. And we go “oh okay you can place your order over at the register”, obviously we don’t do door dash. She sits there for 4 WHOLE MINUTES at the handoff window without doing what we told her and she goes “ALRIGHT WHERES MY SHIT”. My coworker lost patience and told her if she wanted her “shit” for her order she needs to place the order and pay with her door dash card. Some people Jesus Christ. Makes it harder for me to want to show up to work.

Should be illegal. Also, I'll never understand the point of ordering this many drinks in order to consume them several minutes after they're prepared. Do people not understand the time sensitive nature of drinks? Like, they're designed to be consumed immediately.

This happens ALL of the time at my store. The nearest Starbucks is 15-20 minutes away in another town. No idea how anyone can be that oblivious.
avbzz9 points3y ago
Today and yesterday there has been 11 drinks mobile order for the same person. Most of them Frappuccinos....

fightyourfuture1 points3y ago
Oh my god I think I know this store! It's the one I always go to when I'm in Charlotte for a concert. Y'all are all great btw!
David8894261 points3y ago
Interesting I guess some stores still get those lids.. kinda miss the old lids new ones don’t snap on right and I can’t tell if they are on securely
Werespider3 points3y ago
Texas Shift checking in, we only do nitro lids for nitro and cold foam beverages. Everything else still gets normal lids and straws.
David8894262 points3y ago
We have nitro lids for cold brew and “sippy lids” for other ice drinks kinda similar to the nitro but a little different. I’m in Virginia
hufflepuffisonfleek2 points3y ago
We have a guy from a nearby hospital come in every once in awhile who orders like 30 drinks and never tips.
