Which is why I don’t pick up shifts any more. Schedule me closer to 35 and I’d be tempted to pick up a shift. Schedule me 20 - 18 and fuck off if someone calls out 🥱 Not cursing at you. But I think 8 hour shifts are respectable. 5 hour shifts are not.

I think it’s just being /too nice/ which doesn’t get you respect.

I am doing 9:30a-8:45p tomorrow. I’ve been pulling a lot of 12/13 hour shifts lately.

Not to be a dick but you’re the one picking up those hours. No space to complain if you need the money.
I have to work two jobs (Ontario is expensive) so it’s a 14-hour day almost 5 days a week. On top of being a third-year university student. It’s just what you have to do.
You’re doing great though, keep it up! Just don’t burn yourself out like I did!
