Tf does customer connections score even mean?

If customers use the app a lot, they receive an email to take a survey about their store experience. It states several things like “my beverage tasted amazing” and you rate 1-7 from strongly disagree to strongly agree. If they don’t hit a 7, then it counts as a zero and the score suffers. The most important question that they care about right now is “my barista made an effort to get to know me”. Our district is currently focusing on pushing those numbers up by coaching us on how to talk to customers, ask them about their day, how to sequence and bar so that you can make drinks but focus on interacting with customers at the same time. It’s ridiculous. I need to focus on what I’m doing or I’m going to make mistakes
