I’m 21 and I am barely trying to get my first job, kind of embarrassing. I hadn’t had the time to get a job being busy with school, but this semester I am only taking one class so I am hoping I can land this as my first job. Can someone tell me how their interview happened and what was asked, as well as any tips? Thank you, will greatly appreciate anything.

It's all about customer service. Have an outgoing personality, be honest and genuine. Anyone can learn to make a good latte, but not everyone has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

I got my first job at Starbucks at 20, I had 2 separate interviews with different SMs, one of my store and one of another nearby one. We had coffee and talked about my best and worst Starbucks experiences, hobbies, and how I would respond to different customer service related situations. The whole process went very quickly for me, I was hired within like a week, but I know that isn't typical for all stores.
