Thats what I tell partners who argue with customers "just remake it even if you made it right and 90% of the time they'll be happy"

Sometimes I have to remind myself to not get annoyed, and that I used to be a customer too, and there have been times where there was something wrong with my drink. I could taste when the shots were watery, which I now know is due to the machine not being calibrated correctly, or if there wasn't vanilla in my macchiato. If you order the same thing every day, you know when it's off. Most people aren't trying to be dicks, it's just the ones who don't know how to ask politely without accusing you of doing something wrong that ruin your mood.

As a customer, I rarely bring a drink back but if I do and they mess it up a second time I just smile and suck it up. If it's really far off the mark I'll just complain to corporate. If it's close enough I call it good and drink it.
But I'm sure there's plenty of people who feel the second drink is also incorrect but don't want to be "that person." So OPs post is just kind of meh. There are probably quite a few Karen powertrippers but then there's probably a lot of people like me.

There is often an answer to this.
Even with my own drinks sometimes they can taste gnarly when I make them myself. The quality of shit actually makes a difference in the whole taste of our drinks. The customers don't exactly know how to explain what's wrong with theirs.

Omg we have this Lady who asks for, a coffee frappuccino extra frap roast to bar shots and light base and I make it the exact same every single time and one time she was like it taste weird so I made at the exact same again and she was like this is better

sometimes the pumps have bacteria buildup despite cleaning or replacing which can change the taste
also the timing for shots and air and temperature all change the taste so like of the machine cues the shots over 28 the taste is very different
also of the espresso beans get mixed or of the coffee is ground too early prior to brewing the chemistry of the drink gets altered
