I’ve mentioned this many times, apparently corporate believes that having fake pastries gives off the vibe that they’re not “fresh” (despite the fact that they literally come in bags, delivered frozen)

Meanwhile almost every customer whom I tell that we are out of something points to the -one- of it in the pastry case and asks why they can’t have that one?? 🤢

theoretically we are supposed to use product that went out the night before... cause ya... that happens... almost as fun as people asking for the "sippy cup lid" after they've gotten their drink so they can "save the turtles"... yup let me throw away this other lid while I'm at it...

Same with recycling!! If we had one dedicated trash can for plastics we would do so much good with the 100+ milk jugs we throw out. But nooo lord forbid Starbucks ever do something decent for the earth OR its baristas. SMH

i literally think about this all the time. I hate hate how we use real food it seems like such a waste and like so much extra work for no reason???

Our DM INSISTS that we donate food that we’ve kept in the pastry case. I just can’t do it in good conscious. We donate food that’s gone out and throw the pastry case away
