Do you guys charge for extra pumps?(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by AuntieLux
I’ve been taught by like, five different people. Some charge for the extra pumps, some don’t. So last night when I had a customer ask for EIGHT EXTRA pumps of white chocolate mocha, I charged her for it. She got mad.
Do we or do we not charge for extra pumps? I’m so confused.

Are you at a licensed store or corporate? At a corporate store you don’t charge for extra of something that already comes in the drink

There isn’t even a way to do that at a corporate store that I’m aware of. It just charges once for the addition of sauce or syrup if it’s not part of the drink already.

Licensed store. I don’t even know what a cooperate store is.

Corporate stores are stand alone stores. Licensed stores are Starbucks inside a Target, Publix, or any other store.

Ah. I’m a kiosk in a grocery store.

You charge them if they are assholes yes

I used to work at a licensed Starbucks inside of a target and would 100% charge if they went crazy with the syrups. Especially because at a license we would run out of ingredients much quicker than a corporate.

I don’t charge them if they ask for 1 pump or less, unless they are dickheads.
