Had a couple walk in and ask for a tall cup of soy along with their coffees because they wanted to add the soy in later. It was the first and last time I enforced the 'if it's more than 2 liquid onces, then it qualifies as a chargeable drink' rule. "But they do this for me all the time!"

I had a woman for a while who would come in and ask for a venti cup of hot water because she had brought her own tea bags. She would dump about half of the super hot water in the trash can, add her tea bags, and then ask me to fill the rest with soy. I put my foot down and got the fun job of explaining to her (every time) that while normally customers can get up to 4 oz of free milk she had to buy something for that to apply. Otherwise I would have to charge her for the milk no matter how much she got.

There were some super fun conversations before she got the hint and I am assuming went back to the "other Starbucks that do it for her all the time."

The one time she did buy the tea I made sure to only give her exactly 4 ounces because she refused to believe that she should have to pay for the 10 oz she wanted. I am vindictive like that.
