You literally mobile ordered it hot, it shows a picture of what the drink looks like and ask for us to remake it saying we messed up. Why not just know what your ordering next time?

I had somebody make one of my baristas remake her oatmeal because she 'ordered it without water'. It's not even an option of the app... people are dense.

Precisely! But it wasn't even " Oh, I didn't want water" it was "Excuse me, I actually ordered this without water" like.. the confidence. I went on the app to double check and you can't request no water. So either she was lying or she is so sure of herself that we must have made a mistake that it isn't worth engaging.

Someone ordered and hot coffee under the name “steamed milk” they came to yell at me and said I made their drink wrong because I didn’t add steamed milk to their drink. I told him next time to order a misto and blew his shit because he didn’t want a misto 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

When people do that, I say “Can you show me on your app?” I then force them to sit there as I show them how to properly order the drink. If they say they’re in a hurry, I let them know the drink is being remade as we speak but I need to go through this with them so next time they don’t order the wrong drink again. I never ever act like we messed up, I embarrass the shit out of them. Nicely, of course :)

A lot of people forget or otherwise just don’t say to remove the whip. I always err on the side of caution and either ask if the person is present or leave it off - it’s easier to add whip after the fact than scrape it off or remake the drink of there’s a lactose intolerance/dairy allergy.
