So I've noticed a new scam that several people have tried to pull off in my store. Someone comes in and buys a mug with a credit card, next day the same person comes back in to return it for cash. The same person has done this several times this week for the exact same mug. Because of our refund policy each time they do this is only going to get them about $20. Third time I saw him come in I offered him store credit and he said no thanks, and I saw him in a different store to get a refund. My guess is he's not paying off the card or it's a stolen card.
