The store I work at got a new SM a couple of weeks ago. He is a long time partner with a lot of great experience.
Our ASM is getting promoted to an SM at a new store that opens February 28th. She asked me to go with her and I most definitely want to do it!!!!
I have never transferred before. I have no idea how to even bring it up to the SM.
WHAT do I say to the current SM?

Just say you want to transfer. There's a form on the hub you can print out. Usually your current and new SM have a conversation about your performance and they both typically need to approve the transfer, but since everyone knows each other it's probably going to be more of a situation where they just have to figure out how to fit the schedules of both stores together.

The new SM at my current store has been transferring partners from other stores INTO our store and hiring new partners too.
I would expect to be scheduled to work at my current store until I can start working at the new store. I told the person who is going to be the SM at the new store I would really like to help set up the new store if possible. 🙏🏽
