So I’ve been having issues with a shift since my store opened in July. The main issue is the way she talks to me. She is the only shift that curses at me, yells at me and gives me an attitude. For example, our tip day is on Wednesday and I typically don’t work those days. So when I come in for a shift to work after that day I kindly ask the shift on duty “hey when you have the time or when ever you open the safe next, may I please get my tips?” They go “yea give me one sec”. So I didn’t work this last Wednesday but I worked Thursday . I came in and said hi and kindly asked to receive my tip. The shift I have the issue with was on duty and when I asked she said “you need to stop waiting to collect your tip. You always wait to get” in a rude tone and I replied by saying there was not point in me coming yesterday if I’m coming in later in the week, I’m not wasting gas money. She told me to wait and I never got them. I worked yesterday, and kindly asked and she again rudely told me to wait. Still didn’t get my tips. I know that if I go to my SM she won’t do any because whenever I tell her how the shift treats/talks to me she basically give a reason on why I deserve to be talked that way; mainly my “performance”. Again no other shift treats me the way she does. If I were to ask another shift they have no problem getting my tip or telling me what they need from me when I come in. What should I do about this problem?
*she just got fired☺️☺️☺️

So I never do this because it seems rude, but considering the fact that SHE was rude first; I’d come through the drive thru for that shit
Partners at my store do it all the time. You can get something while you’re at it to make it a little less awkward, but that’s up to you.
But yeah, go through the drive thru and we’ll see how long she makes you wait there 🙃

Call the PCC. This is absolutely not an acceptable way to treat anyone and it is borderline illegal.

Their behaviour is absolutely against company policy and you need to report it. Don't tolerate that kind of harassment.
All partners are entitled to work in an environment that is free of harassment, bullying and discrimination. Did the SM elaborate on what the issues are with your performance or do you already know what they were referring to? If not, I would ask for clarification.

But no matter how my performance is my shift has no reason to talk to me like that. She she only talks to me in that way.

Definitely. Sorry, didn’t mean to imply it makes it okay. My thinking is “forcing” them to be clear kind of holds their feet to the fire. But, from your other response it sounds like they’re just not good managers.
I would get the shift alone and tell her “I don’t know what you’re problem is with me but you’re creating a hostile work environment and it needs to stop”. That puts her on notice. If it continues or escalates it’s time to go up the chain of command.

I tried talking to them before I went to my SM. And if I know if I go to my DM he won’t do anything.

She claimed that my shift had the right to yell and curse me out if the guest wasn’t “satisfied” with something out of my control like if we were out of something or I politely told them that if they’re picking up a mobile that they needed to stop at the speaker in DT to say that they were doing so

If your AM or SM won’t do anything, call the district manager. That is not acceptable at all and nobody deserves to be talked to like that as you are a hard worker with your green apron!
