Clarification on partner discount (self.starbucksbaristas)

Is it alright for my mom to use my starbucks account to mobile order drinks and use my partner discount? My numbers are hooked up to my starbucks account and the money to reload the starbucks card comes out of my bank account.

But they’re the one paying for it? I was always told that if the partner is paying they can use their discount for a friends drink.

Oh my bad. I read it wrong then. I thought op meant they were going to let their mom use their partner discount to mobile order but I didn’t read the last part where op said they were paying.

I mean do it and don’t say anything. For all they know you order it for you and you’re sitting in the car while your mom runs in to grab your mobile order. No shift I know cares except the ASM and SM anyways.

As long as you pay, it’s okay. Your numbers must be used by you and with your money at all times. I think using your account will be fine merely because you are in charge of the transaction and pay for it all.

Technically no. Partners have been fired for doing that. But it's also unlikely to get a manager to both notice and care.
If it's just one drink every once in a while I'll turn a blind eye to it, But if I see you ordering a dozen drinks with your discount that gets noticed.
