Job interview for Barista position on Friday. What to expect?(self.starbucksbaristas)

Hey all,

I recently quit being a freelance journalist which has been my job since 2016. I decided to go back into corporate and applied at Starbucks. Mostly because I'm transgender and could use their transgender health care benefits to get surgeries I need. What was your job interview like? What questions were asked? How can I prep? And what is your overall satisfaction with your job as a barista? I admit it's going to feel a little odd making a jump from working from home (and for myself) to getting back into the grind of things. Any tips you have to help would be great.

Be prepared feeling lost as you will be lost for the first 3-4 months. It takes time to get used to this job. Also i hope you do not hate cleaning as you will be cleaning all of the time and then some. I probably do not need to tell you that pay generally sucks but benefits are good such as health insurance, ability to take classes at ASU for free.
