Hi, if I was scheduled to work today but had to call out because I was sick, will I still get paid time and a half for those sick hours?

We have paid sick hours so yes they will get paid but idk if they'll get the time and a half

Yes, paid sick hours. But OP didn't actually work. You only get time and a half if you WORK on a holiday. If you take sick time, or even if you get paid holidays off, you just get standard wages.

That’s wild. No. We had so many call-outs at my store we literally moved everyone to a different shift to cover. NO time and a half for causing that chaos. Why.
