Union life (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by AlexisAyeee
I honestly am so happy that I’ve escaped what felt like the dregs of hell that was my old store and have gone on to the strip into a unionized position. The pay, the benefits, everything. No dishes, mats, drive thru, saying yes to the most bizarre requests bc I can’t say no. Literally god bless. Thanks to those of you who gave me advice to transfer instead of flat out quit a few months ago. I appreciate it!

I’m glad you were able to find better. I just started at Starbucks after being unemployed for a couple months and I feel like I’ll be struggling financially here. They pay low at my store and hours are in short supply and I don’t know what to do because I’d hate to get a job and then quit but I can’t live off of so little

How do you know if a store is unionized ?
retsehassyla 1 points 3y ago
Yes, how do we know??

we're "owned" by the casino so we're automatically a part of a worker's union. We still have a Starbucks appointed DM and QASA :\^)
