Custom tea lattes (self.starbucksbaristas)

When someone orders a hot tea with steamed soy milk would that be rung up as a custom tea latte soy? Everyone at my store has been ringing it up as a regular tea and just put add soy but now apparently I’m the bad guy for ringing it up as a custom tea latte?

My store has always just done it if it’s a small layer/less than four ounces

It depends on how much milk. If they want just a small amount, I don’t charge and just add steamed from the custom screen. If they want a grande and 1/3 of it milk, I charge as a custom tea latte. I use my fingers to ask them how much milk they want “did you want this much or more like THIS much?”

I’m pretty sure that would be a tea latte with soy milk. But I could be wrong.
