Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the shift manager/store manager have to ask you ahead of time to see if you can work those hours? Like if the hours were already on the schedule

I’m sure some do, but either way this is highly problematic/illegal sometimes. Reach out directly to her to find out what’s up and if you don’t get a reason that make sense to you, reach out to your DM so they can change the Sm’s behavior.

Nope. But my city has labor laws that have a financial penalty for businesses that change schedules on short notice, and they can't have any penalties for an employee declines to do anything but the originally posted schedule.

yes!! but it’s always cutting my 6 or 8 hour shifts to 4 hours instead ;(
