I put up the truck if truck days fall on my days. I’ve become the designated person.
I lift with my knees not my back.
Blah blah blah.
Well, we had a stack that was falling over (not on a pallet) and as soon as I got to said stack I made sure to be more cautious. As I’m dissembling the stack holding it up, it starts to fall over.
In that moment I react with stealth, cat-like reflexes lifting my right arm up very swiftly, which is the moment I believe I pulled something in my shoulder.
Would this be a potential worker’s compensation issue?
I even took a picture of the stack before it even happened because we’ve had trouble in the past with our truck guys doing this.
Thanks!
I’m going to add that I can barely life up my right arm and put on my my jacket. It takes me 5x longer and when I’m laying down on my back I can’t raise my arm either. It hurts like a b*tch
