Getting a second job; need some advice (self.starbucksbaristas)

So my SM mentioned that hours would go up in March, but I've applied for part time at another cafe closer to home and I was wondering how many partners get away with restricting their availability to something closer to 12 hours? Could my SM fire me for asking for this? She can be a little vindictive sometimes

I have people who work maybe once a week at my store. Really up to your SM, but you won’t get fired and like mentioned above you might just not get scheduled

My SM requires all partners to work at least 2 shifts per week, and at least 12 hours per week. It's hard to keep up if you're doing less than that.
