Being understaffed and having to be nice almost all the time.

\^This but also the amount of different ways there is to order the same drink.

Really this! And I’m going to add the way people think they know more than me bc they saw it online. 🙄

Rude/unappreciative customers. Hands down. We choose to show up every shift and provide a service, but no one is entitled to it.

This. I’ve worked multiple service jobs in several different cities, Starbucks stands above the rest in creating spoiled monster customers who are irritated/upset by everything. God forbid you make them wait for a drink during a mad rush, or mess up part of their insane drink order with 12 modifications.

Cleaning up after people that refuse to throw away their own trash and think it's okay to make a mess because they are customers.

A customer literally handed me trash while I was on bar yesterday. She then walked past three trash cans to exit the store.

OMG, that is so rude.

One time while I was cleaning the cafe I found a lemon parfait cup with a hot up in it, straw wrapper trash, a spoon and napkins behind our lounge chairs they even stacked it all up. There was a trash can not even three feet next to them.

There been times when i really wanted to go on the floor and hand someone broom/dustpan and tell them to clean it up. Trashcan is 3 feet away and they are throwing their trash on the floor and they can see me looking right at them.

Customers who are 2x my age mistaking my kindness for flirting and asking me out to places. Talk about making me uncomfortable, they’re masters at it.

Customer connections...they suck. We shouldn’t have to go way above and beyond any other companies regular customer service. Connections should happen naturally...Also the most entitled customers ever.

Mobile orders.

Knowing how a drink should be made, and knowing how you like your drinks. Because then you go to another cafe, and other baristas just don’t do it quite the same as you.
