I recently had the opposite happen to me.

C: I would like a latte with a lot of foam. No one ever adds enough foam.

Me: Oh, did you want a cappuccino?

C: No, I want a latte but, like, I want about half of it to be foam.

I made her a cappuccino. She loved it. It was perfect.

We have a customer that wants more coffee and less foam, she was ordering a flat white no foam, then started ordering a cappuccino with an extra shot, she came back because there wasn’t enough milk or coffee in her drink. After almost 10 mins in the drive they window I explained it sounds like she wants a misto, I told her it would be half coffee and half steamed milk. She was like I just want half the cup to be coffee, I said you would have to have 8ish shots of espresso to do that. She’s now ordering a misto

I keep getting a mobile order for a cappuccino made with heavy cream 😑 it just doesn't work bro.

I was with my friend at a random store one time and she was like, "omg, that barista just added water to my iced Americano! Can you believe that?"....... Yes? That's... That's what an Americano is?

We have a couple customers who order Venti cappuccinos extra dry with almond milk and what they actually WANT is a doppio espresso macchiato in a Venti cup with almond milk. And I HATE those drinks because they take so much almond milk and they’re always in drive through so, no pressure on time, right??

I have a guy who routinely comes in twice a week and says “WET CAP! NO FOAM!” And I gave up saying “so you want a latte?” After the fifth time. I just make him a latte.

I also get.... "Can I get a "large" latte with light milk"
