Does anyone else work in a store where the partners are SUPER cliquey?
My store is getting ridiculous with the cliques, and at one point tonight one of the old partners (that no longer works at our store) came in and walked into the back with all the usual suspects and were talking for 20-30 minutes while myself and one other partner were out watching the store, taking the orders and making drinks.

First off, partners who don’t work at the store shouldn’t be in the back. Secondly, that’s just the nature of people, but if they are being mean to you and not letting you do parts of your job, that’s when you tel your manager. You should talk to them though and say you’re feeling left out. Try to start talking to them more and find common interests. It’s no different than how you make friends in school. Don’t be shy, most baristas are pretty awesome once you get to know them!

My store is a lot like that, thankfully I don’t work there often enough so it barely affects my life
