Its so hard as a closer to put so much effort into your close and then come in the next day to complaints about the silliest things. This is super funny though.

Im a closer and I always have to stay an extra hour or more to make sure we got everything so the openers don’t throw a fit when it only takes them like 30 mins to open.

I will say as an opener, I have been guilty of this. lol On the flip side though, I was a closer for my first 3 years at starbucks so I know what should be getting done at the end of the night. So sometimes I want to be like 'You didn't have time to stock the cups but you had time to name the fucking fridge Alan?' Yes, they named and labelled all our fridges one night.

Ugh! I get you wanna have fun at work but you gotta do some basic things first! We had another girl think it would be funny to hid our timers around the store set to go off at random times. I’m sure she thought we would find it funny but she didn’t have them set to go off till peak and she hid allllll if the timers. Customer support was sure fun that day till we could find the timer. 🙄

Imagine the fun I have managing a 24 hour store that never closes. *I know* there’s just no way to get it perfectly clean some nights, but my employees aren’t as understanding with each other

Cleaning is our biggest challenge. We have a full store at a large research hospital so we are always busy!

As an opener, this is completely me. Every time. But I'm also a closer so I don't bring up the silly things to them, I let it go. But I do silently curse them in the morning when I'm still tired...

Oh god, whenever our close is “bad” we get chewed out in the fucking group chat, or the store log. Like I’m fucking sorry that only two people are scheduled to close the whole store with a useless mid??? But if open doesn’t do shit for US we can’t complain because they get the bulk of the customers. 😒
