Alright y’all mini rant here. I’m all for baristas coming up with these fun new drinks and I don’t mind making them when it’s a slow day. But GIRL when these people come in during peak ordering a multitude of random tik tok drinks that I’ve never made before (I’ve only been here since August but I’m pretty decent on bar) it just messes with me big time. I know it’s our thing and we’re supposed to make them their own customized drinks but I feel as though it slows both me and my co workers down especially when the ENTIRE order are those kinds of drinks and 90% of the order is some weird frappucino (we also only have one blender so that really doesn’t help when it’s busy). Anyways what’re your thoughts and drinks like these? Am I being over dramatic?😂

Someone really came into my store showing me a YOUTUBE CLIP and demanding i make the EXACT drink in the video, we literally had 0 ingredients needed as its a UK store and she was showing me the US store clip 🤦🏼♀️

this poor girl came in with her mom and wanted a tik tok drink. i asked her for the recipe and she asked if it was ok to show me a video. it was fine because it was like 8 pm and no one was in the store and yknow as long as they tell the exact drink she wanted. but this girl actually pauses the video and is like “ this is the drink. do you know what it is?” and i was like i asked you to get me the RECIPE. NOT A PICTURE. and the girl was fumbling fumbling fumbling to figure out what i’m asking for. i said the word recipe like 15 times and her poor mom was like GIMME! because yknow she wasn’t having her daughter not be able to figure what i need and gets to the part in the video with the recipe in it in 5 seconds. i make and i make it super nice and the mom tipped me $2
