I love telling people no to their orders when they can’t tell me what’s in it. My go to surprise me is vanilla bean with peach juice (peaches n creme frapp)....it’s a nice mix between safe and a genuine surprise since it’s technically off menu

I had a kid the other play a TikTok for me to make that drink. I missed half of what the drink was and he refused to replay it. Sure you have the drink that's messed up because you couldn't be bothered to write it down.

Today i made a girl a venti SAR sub green tea instead of water w blackberry inclusion as a “surprise me” bc i was in a good mood, she actually really liked it which was wholesome

for the surprise me, on the rare occasion we get that ordered since it’s a college town and we don’t vibe with cheesy tik tok trends, i ask for preferences first. “coffee or no coffee, dairy or no dairy, and hot or cold?” and go from there with what i feel like. usually a refresher or a hazelnut/toffee nut latte. if i have mad time, i’ll throw together a yummy cold brew concoction of some sort with fun cold foam, also a crowd pleaser.

i’ve started telling people i can’t do secret menu/tik tok drinks through DT anymore. my store manager is behind me on it. tell me a base drink and modify all you want but if you just pull up and say “um ill have a grande starburst drink” i’m gonna say “i’m so sorry unfortunately i don’t have that recipe because it’s not an official starbucks drink. if you want to give me the recipe you’re more than welcome to come inside so i can listen properly and make sure it’s made correctly.”

Nope. Hate those orders. I’ll give it to the second person on bar. Or just walk away before it get printed and “pretend” to get something

I’ve only heard that once, and it was at 6:45 AM during peak and I literally said to the customer “if you want a secret menu item then you need to read the recipe to me”. And she said “my daughter said this location knows how to make it” and I thought to myself “does she think every person here knows secret menu items” but I just told her that we didn’t know how to make it.

I believe the tik tok drink is a strawberry açaí refresher 3 scoops strawberries 3 scoops blacks berries blended
