I was waiting for someone to post this on here. I literally love my coworkers, but hate Starbucks for letting people treat us like crap. They literally reward them for it (sometimes) like in this situation she got a free drink, but still is being a bitch. She probably kept the messed up one too. Lol

But here’s the thing. If someone is being rude to our Baristas and disrupting the Third Place environment, and misusing our space, it is acceptable to ask someone to leave.

Can you elaborate on this some more?

Starbucks has a policy called the “third place policy” where if you are visiting, it doesn’t matter if you are a paying customer or not, you just have to be using the space as *intended* (ie. studying, reading, sitting, not being disruptive to others in any way). With this being said, the space is not intended to be used to berate others or cause a disruption, which is why they can be asked to leave.

This has me heated. Like let the barrista do their job! Why do you have to be a condescending asshole about it??? And why do you think it’s okay to record it??? It’s illegal to record and take people’s pictures without their consent as well sooooo

Karen strikes again of being a shitty person

whoever this fellow starbucks trooper is, send all my love and positive energy!!
Karan will never understand how shitty they can make us feel and forget we have our own problems, lets just hope she spilt her “free drink” all over that pretty little manicured hand.
