Hey you were in the fucking hospital my friend. Even if they were to get upset you will easily have documentation and with that there is legally nothing they can do. You also weren’t going to be scheduled for coverage for a little while yet if they follow proper training procedures anyway and whoever was scheduled to train you can now be extra coverage. So they functionally have very little reason to even be stressed out, let alone upset with you for puking blood. I would be anxious about it if I were you too though I totally understand. I once had to call out my second week on a new job because of a concussion.

You’re fine. It’s not like they can force you to come into work if you’re not feeling well. Especially now with the corona virus going on.

You were in the ER, I'm sure they understand!! I also got hella sick during my week of training causing me to call out for two days, my manager was super undersranding. Get well soon!
