Suggestions/advice: non dairy whipped cream? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by goodbiserena
hello fellow partners!! The partners at my store and i are trying to make non dairy whipped cream with what we have on hand, just for us since a lot of us on staff dont do dairy. But so far, no luck!! However, I just heard a rumor that some stores in europe did a coconut milk whipped cream for a special drink for a limited time with no special LTO things. My question is if anyone actually know how to do this?? And if you have any suggestions, that would be lovely.
Thank you!!!!

I made some coconut milk non dairy whip the other day because my 6 year old is dairy free and would always be sad because her sisters drink looked better. My first attempt was a failure I tried just coconut milk from the bar. I work at a LS inside a Meijer so I went shopping and found Coconut cream I had to make sure it was thicker cream and it was a success.

I like the idea of cloud powder! And maybe try blending it into a thicker cold foam? I haven’t tried coconut-milk on the cold foam setting yet tho so I’m not too sure. Just a thought since heavy cream has that thick consistency when poured.

Just another idea - pls don’t mind this if it sounds stupid I’m just a home baker/month old barista who ended up thinking too hard on this one haha!

And as a fellow non-dairy individual... lmk if you have any success

In stores I've seen both coconut and almond milk non-dairy whipped creams. Both were so yummy!

Maybe try using cloud powder in it? When I make non-dairy cold foam for myself, I notice adding cloud powder helps to get it fluffier significantly.
