Toxic shift supervisor (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by and-i-oooppp
So I was asking around to my fellow partners and we all said the same thing about this one shift supervisor. They always get overly dramatic about stuff being done right. (In their own way) not only that but they say not very nice things to all of us. I get that being a shift is a lot. And that’s exactly why I couldn’t do it. But there is other ways to do things. Starbucks is supposed to be a happy environment. And the partners are supposed to care for one another. My question is could I or someone report the shift to partner resources? Or something else? I mean personally I’m too chicken and I think I would feel bad for doing so. Idk why.

PCC allows for anonymous reports if it comes to this. but it could be more productive to handle it in-store. you could talk to your manager or ask a trusted SSV to bring it up to your manager on your behalf, mentioning that several partners have a problem. the 'not very nice' things they say can also be documented and reported at a shift meeting or to your SM.
