Transferring within three months? (self.starbucksbaristas)

So I have been working at my Starbucks for two weeks now and things kind of came together where I am buying a house an hour away. I love working at my store but I close on the house in two months. Has anyone had luck with transferring when you’ve only been at one store for ~3 months?

It’s definitely possible policy wise, but it’s up to your SM if they’d do it. The first step would be to find a store that has room for you and talk to that SM. From there, you can talk to your SM about what’s going on and submit a transfer request. They have a right to deny it, so it depends on what the needs of your current store are if they would let you go and if they feel you’re trained enough to transfer.
