On the opposite end of that, I once greeted someone then he stood there expectantly for a good 30 seconds without saying a thing. I broke the silence by saying “what can I get started for you?” He literally REFUSED to order until I explicitly greeted him twice. He thought he was so cute for that

Same thing happened to me once. I smiled and said hello but he just stood there for a while and then finally said “Aren’t you going to ask how I’m doing today?”. For the rest of the order he just acted as if I was a newbie and didn’t know how to do my own job. Pissed me off so much.
