Ok I’m not an expert on coffee I’m still pretty new to this but what about this drink is a flat white? Don’t the long shots defeat the whole purpose ?? (i.redd.it)

The fact that it’s iced and grande already defeats the entire purpose of a flat white. Original flat white is supposed to be only 8oz. The irony here is flat white is made with ristretto shots and this person ordering long, which is the opposite end of the spectrum to ristretto.

Exactly! The only thing that would make it even slightly a flat white would be the ristretto shots but they asked for long! I went off with my coworker haha

In emea we make flat white identical to extra shot latte. Even half fat milk, micro foam and regular shots. Only one shot more. How bout dat?
