i don’t know what to do to get more hours. i finally got more hours this week and then next week i have 3 shifts, then i got my next schedule and again i have barely anything. i haven’t done anything wrong and i always make sure i am doing my best and i pick up shifts all the time and stay late if asked like idk what i’m doing wrong. it just sucks man

Call around to other stores. Leave your numbers and experience. People call out all the time.

Idek anymore. I requested to work 20 hour weeks while in college and I'm just going to work a 5.75 on Saturday this week. I have no clue what to do

For what it’s worth, it probably has nothing to do with you, which is both nice and frustrating. Company wide SM’s are being constantly hounded to cut hours all over by their DM’s. We’re the busiest store in our town, drive thru and cafe, and still our SM isn’t able to give the shift supervisors five shifts a week, only four. If your district has a Facebook page, post on there saying your looking for hours and I’m sure some people will take you up on it! Otherwise maybe ask your SM to let other stores know your happy to pick up shifts for them if they need.

Talk to your manager. They will give you a reason, and try to help you where they can. It might be a district thing though, so be prepared for that
