My SM got into a holiday rage and threw out every colored cup after January 2nd. “I’VE FUCKING HAD IT WITH THESE STUPID CUPS!” I believe is what she said.

If you add a shot to a doppio it keeps the title and adds shots. I just learned this yesterday with a cafe “doppio” quad lmao... you have to select it manually like a whole new espresso beverage

He probably thought he would only be charged for a doppio if he selected it and then modified. At our store customers try to scam the system on mobile all the time, it never works but some insist that it does.

Seems like a very easy thing to make the name and number of shots match. Not sure why corporate doesn't fix this to avoid confusion.

i’ve had to do this cus they’re cracking down on how many voids we do and this woman regularly comes in, orders a doppio, and then changes her mind and wants a triple. i’m not gonna void that out 😳

edit — didn’t see this was mobile. my statement still stands tho ahaha

We have a guy who mobile orders a doppio espresso but only gets one shot. I have told him many times hes paying got 2 but only getting 1. Now I just see his order and automatically give him 2. He has yet to order it correctly.

i dont think that’s accurate. my store receives mobiles labeled quad espresso and on pos you can punch in quad. i’ve only seen a difference for 5 shots and more

Some systems are different I think. You can punch in quad on any system but on the one in OP’s store and mine it always says Doppio for 2+, mobile or not

Lots of (I think most) stores have switched to sticker machines. We even got new machines recently with a different type of sticker

Personally, I'm really glad we use stickers, since my handwriting is terrible
