Thinking about leaving sbux (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by and-i-oooppp
I know certain jobs aren’t for anyone long term. And for me it feels like sbux just isn’t it. I love all the people I work with and that’s why it makes it so hard to make the decision to stay or not. I never really wanted to work long term but this job just doesn’t make me happy anymore.

I’ve been feeling the same way recently. What kept me wanting to keep working was my coworkers. I loved them and loved working with them. But Starbucks just wasn’t where I wanted to work. Yeah it’s hard to quit because of the friends you’ve made, but just know that you can always visit them or keep in touch and hang with them outside of work. It’s never a ‘goodbye’ it can be a ‘see you later.’ My advice is look for a job first and then quit once you know you got hired at the new job.
