Put in your two weeks or never show up again/respond to texts, depending on how you want to leave things. Fuck this company.

First cash in all your sick time and vacation time. You don't get that paid out when you quit.

Then it's polite to give 2-weeks notice so your store manager keep the store running smoothly.

I went with the “hey sorry the 15th is my last day I got a new job” when I showed up for my shift lol

I tend to write a polite letter of resignation, apologize for leaving (even if I don't mean it) and inform them of your last day. **My notes tend to go something like this:**

Dear management,

I am writing to give my resignation effective \[Date\]. The time I have spent here has been wonderful. I wish you and all of my coworkers the best. If I can be of any help during the transition, please let me know.

The only time I didn't have a letter like this was because the atmosphere was so shitty, I couldn't stand it. I should mention that I never got to use the following letter as I called to ask if they needed it in writing and they said no. **That letter looked like this:**

Dear management,

I am writing to give my resignation from \[company\], effective \[date\]. If you need me longer than this, I am willing to help out. I am choosing to leave because, during my short time here, I found the environment to be one that will not be successful or healthy for me.

I wish you all the best, and if I can offer any additional feedback, please let me know.

**Feel free to use these if you want!**

Put in you two weeks and do that whole spiel. But then on your last day offer to clean the hopper on the espresso machine, as a nice parting gift. But then, just put nothing but decaf espresso in there when you refill it (I would say switch the decaf with the regular but some people have health issues so...) No one would be able to tell but every one would wonder why their coffee didn't give them the pick up it usually does.
